About JPS

Junior Premier Sports (JPS) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the promotion and development of youth sports in and around Miami-Dade County.  As a youth athletics service provider, our goal is simple:  To improve the quality of life within our community.  Since the Fall of 2001, we have been achieving and constantly raising the bar on this goal in Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay—if there’s one thing to be said about the JPS crew, it’s that we constantly strive to deliver above and beyond the goals that we set for ourselves.

Our athletics programs serve both the public and private schools of Miami-Dade County.  They offer children opportunities to succeed, compete and achieve, while developing pride, school spirit and personal confidence—core elements that are instrumental in the development of a whole individual.

Prior to the start of each new season, our excitement at JPS builds and we make a special commitment to each of our customers to provide them with the best youth sports program in South Florida.  Why?  Youth sports are good for our children—the real future of our community.  At its best, sport inspires teamwork, respect, leadership and pride.  It promotes fitness, endurance and a mental attitude that encourages players to strive for superior goals.  Youth sports promote positive physical and mental development at a time when children are forming the habits that will last their lifetime.

Although we at JPS want to impart our knowledge of sports to youth within our community, even more importantly, we want to impart our joy of the game.  Above all else in our program, we want the kids that participate in our programs each season to have fun.  When they enjoy the game, the skills that make them better both on and off the field develop more easily.
